I must say...this is going to be the most AWESOME summer ever! First...i'm traveling all over the place. I'm leaving for SC next week, and I've already been to PA. Next up is ME and NY, and then CA will be next on the list. Aside from traveling in July, i'm going to see Fiona Apple in concert for the first time! But to make this even better, Breaking Benjamin is going to start touring in late July! I don't know where or when they are coming, but I am soooooooooo there!!! Oh! And they have a new album coming out in August. Could i be any more pumped??? I think not!!!

In other news, i've come up with a professional plan to get me to the next step in my career. The steps are as follows:

Learn Quantitation
Learn Microcrystalline analysis
Join the American Academy of Forensic Science (app is almost done)
Join the Midwest Association of Forensic Scientists
Complete 24 hours on the job training for Clan Lab team
Redo resume
Take and Pass the American Board of Criminalistics test to be a board certified chemist
Testify in Federal Court (not sure how to accomplish this...but i'm going to somehow)
Apply for a job with the DEA

All of this should take about 18 months to complete.

I told Gun Enthusiast i wasn't interested in dating him. He seemed totally open to being just friends though, and we're going hiking when i come back from SC. Rock on! Oh...and i saw X-Men today. Way cool movie. I'm down with it. But to make it even better, i went and saw it by myself. I didn't feel weird about it, and no one looked at me funny. I wasn't treated as a leper, so perhaps i'll start going to movies alone more often! Next on my list to see is The Da Vinci Code, but i'm waiting until that hits the dollar theater. Oh! and I really want to see The Devil Wears Prada.
